Job Description


SUMMARY
Must be skilled on all toolroom equipment. Must work from sketches and blueprints to make machine parts and tooling for all production machines. Must be able to work with engineering and operators to do tooling modifications and improvements. Must assist supervisor in maintaining enough levels of spare tooling.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


One-year certificate from college or technical school.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.

Must be able to understand departmental documentation and be able to process accurately.

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Prior experience in a work environment with strong interaction with all levels of employees outside vendors and visitors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
