Job Description

Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building productsand related technology has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative for its Insulfoam Division, in the Phoenix, AZ area. Candidates must have a working knowledge of the construction industry and the process of competitive bidding.  In addition, candidates also must be able to read blue prints; have an in-depth knowledge ofthe roofing industry; understand roof insulations and membranes; be familiar with XPS(extruded polystyrene), EPS(expanded polystyrene), and below grade; as well as have knowledge of the McGraw hill quote system.  The Sales Representative is responsible for obtaining new business sales, territory management, and achieving sales goals. 

Up to 25 % overnight travel is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Regularly call on contractors and distributors to promote Insulfoam, its products, and programs.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers.
  • Perform presentations to educate our customers.
  • Call on building owners, architects and consultants to develop Insulfoam specifications.
  • Create and implement territory development plans.
  • Provide management with written correspondence and monthly sales reports.
  • Interface with other company departments to achieve sales projections; this includes field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives, which may conflict.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in business, sales/marketing, construction management or related field is required.
  • 3-5 years experience working in a sales environment within the roofing / construction industry. 
  • EPS and XPS sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.
