Job Description

Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for a  Technical Sales Representative, for the Carlisle Roof Foam & Coatings division.  This position will grow Carlisle Roof Foam and Coatings product sales by developing the current customer base and actively seeking new customers within the specified territory. This person will be responsible for influencing and building relationships with building owners, roofing contractors, distributors, general contractors, property managers and the design community.  A proven record in account management is a requirement.  This person will be required to create an annual sales plan designed to meet and exceed sales budget and properly manage day to day sales activities through the company CRM tool.    

This individual should be located in Dallas, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio.

Travel requirement: up to 75%


Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an annual sales plan to meet and exceed sales budget  
• Effectively grow sales and manage pricing to agreed expectations
• Build strong relationships and manage existing customer base within territory 
• Continuously seek new customers and expand account portfolio
• Influence and develop relationships with key external stakeholders including but not limited to building owners, roofing contractors, distributors, general contractors, property managers, architects, and building officials 
• Assist accounts receivable with collecting aged receivables within territory
• Resolve customer issues including but not limited to product requirements, product issues, equipment issues, and logistics issues
• Participate in industry related organizations such as NRCA, RCI, etc. to grow awareness of Carlisle products and keep on top of industry trends. Join committees where appropriate
• Identify and target facility maintenance managers to influence the use of Carlisle products
• Effectively use the CRM platform to track projects, manage accounts, manage customer issues, submit product and technical requests, along with other areas as needed
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including but not limited to inside sales, operations, AR, marketing, and product managers
• Act in accordance to company policies and best practices.

Qualifications:
• 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably of spray foam commercial roofing and/or coatings installation.  Commercial roofing experience is a benefit.
• Basic technical knowledge of commercial construction industry and/or commercial roofing industry 
• Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs, company goals and objectives required
• Demonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders
• Demonstrated record of managing a large number of accounts including high volume accounts 
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite (work, excel, outlook and power point); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems, etc. required
