Job Description

General Summary:

This position is responsible for the sale of the organization’s products and provides ongoing support to product distribution channel.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships and servicing of existing polyurethanes systems accounts.
  2. Develop new business and maintain current business within the designated territory.
  3. Meet and exceed designated sales budget on a consistent basis for the business year.
  4. Maintain consistent and timely documentation for all sales related activity utilizing designated databases and manual processes.
  5. Follow-through on all new leads and referrals presented from internal and external sources.
  6. Coordinate and communicate critical information between customers and the Company regarding shipping, schedules, forecasts, quality, technical issues, pricing and other miscellaneous issues.
  7. Utilize technical and other support staff resources to provide information and optimally address customer needs.
  8. Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
  9. Consistently engage in self-development leading to maintaining technical competence in order to service accounts when deemed appropriate.
  10. May perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Required:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in business or a related field and 3 to 5 years of successful selling experience or business development required.Preference will be given to candidates with successful selling experience or business development in polyurethane or related markets.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strategic selling and Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems experience are a plus.
  • Experience and willingness to work with cross-functional teams required.
  • Demonstrated history of commercial success in industrial or manufacturing sector preferred.
