Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) - Pottstown has a fantastic opportunity for dynamic supply chain professional to join our team! He/she will provide professional leadership in supporting continuous improvement within the plant Supply Chain functions. Lead and coordinate activities to drive continues improvement within the corporate Supply Chain Principles. Creating and Revising Procedures, Work Instructions, and Standard work in support of the corporate Principles. Coordinate collection and reporting of Supply Chain Metrics as per the Supply Chain Excellence Audit requirements. Drive continues improvement that achieves Stage 4 -- Strategic rating.

• Facilitate creation of new Procedures, work instructions, and standard work as required.
• Responsible for review of most recent Supply Chain Excellence Audit. Create and monitor Action Plan in supporting year over year improvement.
• Perform GAP Analysis from Audit findings and lead efforts to complete actions.
• Coordinate Supply Chain Team on SCEA actions, audit, and audit preparation.
• Coordinate review of KPI's year over year.
• Coordinate periodic review of ERP System (BAAN and/or SAP) Master Data.
• Facilitate Kaizan activities relative to Supply Chain.
• Understands terms and conditions, order confirmation, revision and change notice processes, and other processes within the facility affecting production planning and purchasing activities.
• Maintains and continuously improves MRP system or other Capacity or Purchasing planning system parameters or processes (e.g. kanban, ROP, VMI) for effective use of system planning and control.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts of assigned areas and plant as needed including logging of information for metrics kaizen events, special projects, Lean/SixSigma activities and procedures or documentation such as required by the plant or by accreditation processes such as AS9100.

Must be able to work in a factory environment to include walking in the factory floor, walking up/down stairs and other related activities in addition working in an administrative environment, to include computer and presentation skills

Qualified candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and be able to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment physical and drug screen.

The ideal candidates should have:

• Two (2) year degree is mandatory. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (Business, Supply Chain, or Technical) is highly preferred. APICS/ISM/Supply Chain certification or willingness to complete first 3 modules of APICS certification program (or equivalent) within two years of employment is preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling position(s) is desired. Cable and electronic component planning experience desired.
• Excellent materials management skills including Planning and Scheduling techniques and methodologies, General Manufacturing knowledge, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), General Purchase Order and Supplier Delivery management, general knowledge of Engineering Change processes, Inventory Control, Transactional Management, and critical thinking and problem solving capability.
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement.
• Exceptional negotiation and organizational interface skills.
• A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
• An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
• Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, suppliers, and employees. Portrays a positive and professional image. Ability to establish relations with a wide range of personalities, cultural backgrounds and educational levels.
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to job-related situations.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM and PP module knowledge is preferred).
• Computer skills -- General MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are mandatory; advanced skills in MS Office including MS-Access are beneficial.
