Applicants are eligible for Summer hire if they are currently enrolled in college for the fall of 2018, enlisted in the military in the fall of 2018 or currently not enrolled in college but have graduated high school and are 18 years of age.

This individual will need to be able to perform a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials throughout the plant. This includes working in the following process areas: ERH, Conventional, Mixing, Conversion, Adhesives, Coatings and Waterproofing, shipping or TPO. Additional areas of coverage include, but are not limited to, liner reroll, straining, mixing, conversion areas, etc. This position will provide brief relief when applicable for breaks and lunch at operations requiring additional production. Responsibilities include following production schedules, oral and published job instructions, specifications and prescribed procedures. Detect, rectify as able and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions. Observe prescribed safety regulations. Keep count, tallies and records as required. Perform various other related or associated duties as required or directed.

•Saturday and Sunday OT may be required

Must be 18 years of age. Must have high school diploma or GED.
•Pre-employment drugs screen and Physical abilities tests must besuccessfully completed.

  1. Standing – while operating equipment, inspect sheeting, straining.
  2.  Reaching – to thread sheeting, pull rubber off of mills, service and guide mandrels, etc.Stooping, kneeling, crouching – while operating several pieces of equipment.
  3.  Balancing when climbing in and around several pieces of equipment.
  4. Climbing up and down steps to get to several pieces of equipment.
  5. Walking – throughout the plant.
  6. Pushing and pulling sheeting, finished rolls, mandrels, buttons, etc.
  7. Lifting – sheeting (straining, whale tails, pigs of defective/rework materials, rolls, etc.), skids.
  8. Grasping – knives on mills and pre/post cure stands, sheeting, tools, etc.
  9. Talking – communicate with team members, use telephone and intercom.
  10. Hearing – use telephone and intercom, communicate with team members, listen to equipment for faulty operation.
  11. Sight – recognize hazard, warnings, visually inspect defects, read displays, operate mills.
