Job Description

Verifies the conformance of product in accordance to documented procedure ensuring high-quality levels at various stages of production.


* Responsible for technical assembly functions in support of manufacturing activities such as electro-mechanical assembly and upgrade operations
* Complete Electro-Mechanical assembly processes for complex communication equipment (i.e. stand-alone chassis, circuit card modules, cable assemblies, wire harness assemblies and fiber optic assemblies) utilizing standard work, customer schematics and engineering drawings, Carlisle Engineering verbal instructions, change notices, bill of materials and parts lists to assemble and inspect for updates and verify assembly revisions
* Mentor and train Electrical Assembler- Mechanical III's (EAIIIM)
* Regular and predictable on-site attendance

*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*

* To gain the position of Sr. Electro-Mechanical Assembler and with all the other qualifications being met initially, you must prove proficiency with a 90% and above average score and maintain active status in the below Carlisle IT Technical training courses:

* Wire Harness Fundamentals (all modules),
* Tooling Fundamentals (all modules), CIS certification IPC/WHMA-A-620 (all modules)
* CIS certification J-STD-001 (all modules)
* ESD and FOD awareness courses and any other training found to be required
* Kaizen participation 2X yearly, Lean manufacturing workshop training.
* High school education or equivalent required.
* Able to read a wide variety of blueprints.
* Good reading, writing and mathematical skills.
* Excellent communication skill in both written and oral form.
* Able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules.
* Able to work overtime as needed.
* Able to work effectively with all employees and supervisors.
* Computer skills -- General knowledge of MS-Excel, Word and Outlook

* Basic knowledge of transactions within ERP systems (SAP).

Optional Training: Soldering Fundamentals Modules. If trained and performing work must maintain competency.


* • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* • 3+ years' experience as an EAIIIM and/or relevant experience and proven proficiency (external recruiting only) in electro-mechanical assembly/rework experience in a manufacturing or repair environment

Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739
