SUMMARY
The Finance/Costing solutions architect is responsible for creating high level solution models and solution architectures aligned to business outcomes across CIT. This position will also serve as a consultant to the Division finance group, controllers and cost accountings guiding them on the capabilities of systems to continually improve business operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Deliver high-level solution models and solution architectures in line with business requirements, organization and industry standards across all CIT Plants.
* Ensure compliance of all high-level solution models and solution architectures to the target Architecture, Enterprise roadmap, architecture principles and standards
* Assesses the impact of business change requests on the existing architecture and support the prioritization of finance, controlling and costing related changes
* Provide direction and guidance on projects ensuring adherence to architecture and design standards and the enterprise target architecture.
* Work with the project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and strategy so that recommended solution options provide the best fit against requirements and budget
* Be able to independently lead or execute complex assignments and projects.
* Support the functional and technical Analysts to determine high-level functional and nonfunctional requirements, maximizing the use of standard or out-of-the-box features and capabilities

* Create solution options and solution architectures, ensuring any deviations to the standards are handled through the Strategy and Architecture Governance process
* Be accountable for the viability of proposed solutions and provides direction, advice and guidance on the appropriate approach to the solution throughout the project
* Performs the design authority role on projects ensuring that the detailed designs and solutions delivered align to the solution architecture, managing and resolving any design issues as they arise
* Maintains awareness of the technology in use within the Group in order to ensure solutions leverage the capability of the estate
* Work with external suppliers to ensure that the appropriate technology direction is set with respect to systems, data and technical infrastructure
* Work and effectively communicates with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group in developing a solution that meets the needs of the business

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Occasionally the job may require that time in the production areas, which require OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.

TRAVEL
Average 40 -- 50% travel for implementation projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college in Supply Chain/IT or equivalent experience required
* Minimum of eight (8) years of SAP or related experience in various Functional or Technical positions.
* Minimum of five (5) years of working in SAP PP, SD, MM and WM modules with at least (1) one year of experience in PM and QM modules.
* Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing these into SAP business processes.
* Experience in at least three end to end full life cycle SAP implementation projects.
* Working knowledge of other SAP functional areas in FI/CO
* Experience with SAP Logistics Information Structure. (LIS)
* Demonstrated understanding and application of the functional and technical aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation (i.e., Functional/technical specifications, test plans)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CPA or SAP FICO or Architect certifications preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to understand Spanish or Mandarin a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
