Job Description
Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Business/Financial Analyst, at its Carlisle, PA location. Under the supervision of the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Business/Financial Analyst will develop and manage reports for sales, market share and profitability, while engaging with CCM’s leadership team as well as internal & external sales channels. This position collaborates extensively with multiple functional areas to administer sales & financial planning initiatives, and facilitate the enhancement of reporting processes and platforms.
This position will require up to 10% travel, including overnight travel.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Manager of FP&A to execute and manage sales, pricing and profitability reporting & analysis to Sales and P&L leadership
- Analyze & report trends by region, product or customer
- Manage sales channel processes and initiatives such as territory plans and rebates
- Develop annual and monthly forecasts
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting for Sales and Marketing management
- Interface with external agencies to maintain Company and Industry data
- Support annual and strategic improvement programs and business initiatives
- Prepare slides and presentations in support of numerous meetings and events
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or related field is required.
- 3-6 years of experience as a Business or Financial Analyst, or equivalent role
- Hands-on experience in sales/margin reporting and generating dashboards across areas such as Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance, with a strong Sales & Finance functional knowledge
- Ability to work with minimum supervision while engaging with Sales/P&L leadership to identify trends and document/track opportunities for improvement
- Experience preparing reports and presentations
- Results-focused, team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. array formulas, pivot & data tables) to mine transactional data and identify trends within KPIs
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
