Job Description

Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for a  Regional Sales Manager for the Insulfoam division.  This position will achieve sales growth and EBIT goals within the defined regional territory.  The role will be responsible for directly managing key territory accounts and actively pursuing new business opportunities.  You will manage a small team of direct outside sales reps and independent sales reps.

This individual should be located in Omaha or Lincoln NE.

Travel requirement: up to 50%

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct regional sales activities to achieve continuous profitable sales growth by developing and managing to a regional sales plan.
  • Develop individual Territory Plan focused on key market segments while also leading and managing key initiatives of direct report sales personnel.
  • Assist in the development and support of key national accounts located in the territory.
  • Key responsibility for profitability of Location (s) down to bottom line of P and L recognizing mfg. has a separate reporting structure.
  • Build an ever-increasing regional specification position and credibility by supporting your Sales Representatives efforts presentation of waterproofing and AVB systems to design professionals, consultants and building owners.
  • Deliver project-specific support to installers and design professionals to assure effective specification and delivery of systems.
  • Set and execute strategic goals, including product launches and region-specific/product-specific sales focus.
  • Support of company strategic initiatives including: New Product Developments; Marketing Programs; and Carlisle Operating System activities.
  • Communicate regional sales activities and regional market activity
  • Represent the company in professional organizations.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Sales experience within the commercial roofing or building materials industry
  • Prior experience managing direct or indirect sales representatives
  • Experience driving sales through independent sales representatives
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to sell company capabilities and system feature/benefits
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Must have the ability to motivate others, inspiring them to achieve their full potential
