Job Description

This is a full time temporary position:
This position verifies that product received in house from outside sources is in conformance to Tri-Star Electronic' requirements and that items received are complete, correct and have the required documentation. In addition candidate will perform FA of completed parts per the customer specification.
Inspector I

• Responsible for verifying the accompanying documentation is complete.
• Performs dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, Comparator and/or other measuring tools
• Performs visual inspection to assure parts received are uniform and free of defects, tool marks and other discrepancies that could affect the function of the parts.
• and preparing first article masters
• Ensures that Manufacturing Process Specification's (MPS) and blueprint specifications are met. Maintain quality and requirements.
• Maintains clean, well-organized work area while performing all assigned tasks in a manner consistent with company safety/environmental regulations
Inspector II, Additional Skills, Duties and Responsibilities

• Required to use statistical sampling techniques.
• Uses Manufacturing Shop Orders (MSO) and appropriate inspection equipment.
• Ensures that paperwork and computer data entry corresponds with parts in process and that data is correct.
• Perform all other related duties and functions as assigned.
• Perform FA inspection of finished goods per customer specification
Physical Demands:

• This position uses a computer terminal to access, input, and retrieve data.
• This position may be subject to frequent or occasional interruptions which may cause a change in immediate priorities and/or work focus.
• This position may require occasional lifting/moving of items in excess of 30 pounds.
• May require irregular or extended work hours.
• May be subject to loud noises

• Routinely stands, walks, sits, stoops, reaches, and bends

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass certification testing.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, threads gages and x-ray machines.
• Must be detail oriented


• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with limited assistance.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Able to perform simple math calculations.

• One year certificate from college or technical school or a minimum six months in equivalent experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
