Job Description


SUMMARY
The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for receiving and storing incoming raw materials and goods.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receives all raw materials and expense items for the facility.
* Pulls paperwork from items received and forwards to the supervisor.
* Delivers expense items to end users.
* Pulls requisitions and delivers raw materials to machines.
* Process all withdrawals, excess of raw materials and completes proper paperwork.
* Prepares paperwork for unfit or rejected raw material for return to vendor.
* Inventories raw material as required and adjusts raw material inventory.
* Covers in the absence of material handler.
* Performs other duties as assigned and maintains work area, equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly condition.
* Reports any problems or difficulties to the supervisor and obeys safety rules.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (QED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


JOB SKILLS/TYPE OF PERSON
* Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
