Job Description

Verifies conformance to specifications and fills out first article inspection reports for completed manufactured connector assemblies. Operates with a high degree of integrity, consistency, and credibility to foster good working relationships, develop a spirit of teamwork, and accomplish job goals. Adheres to company standards of conduct and performs all tasks in a safe, efficient manner.


• Inspects parts and partial or complete assemblies to verify conformance to specifications and ensures timely shipment of high quality connectors.
• Extracts information from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to determine inspection criteria.
• Performs sampling or 100% inspection on inspection operations using visual and mechanical inspection methods to approve products for shipment or identifies defective products.
• Completes accurate inspection paperwork in a timely manner to document inspection data for traceability (routers, signature sheets, and final inspection sheets).
• Maintains a high level of efficiency to move products and parts through the FAIR process.
• Provides customers as a DQSR.
• Attends customer required training to keep certification active
• Assures that all gages are in the calibration software, correlates outside laboratories for calibration. Completes in-house calibration.
• Verifies visual rejects sent back through the RMA process.
• Ability to perform inspection using a microscope. Ability to perform mechanical dimensions using calipers, calculator and dial indicators etc. Understand GD & T.
• Access customer portal to complete lot inspections

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintaining instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.


• • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


• • Ability to apply job specific understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


• • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• • Frequently required to stand and walk.
• • Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• • Specific vision abilities required, i.e. close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.

High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years Quality Technician experience desired.
