A detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality.Motivated : self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.Able to work flexible hours and travel as required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ideal candidate would be a "hands-on" person with a minimum of 3 -- 5 years' quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of diverse manufacturing processes. Proficient in the use of basic measurement devices such as micrometers and calipers. Familiar with 6-Sigma and Lean tools and concepts. Data collection and statistical analysis. Computer skills, Microsoft Office.




Quality support for Carbon manufacturing. Responsible for production quality
inspections and documentation. Help to administer the total quality assurance program encompassing the planning, evaluation, and reporting of all quality aspects of a product from its conception through manufacturing with the intent to provide an optimum quality product at the lowest cost.

Perform first-piece approvals, final inspections, raw material receiving inspections, and subcontract shipping/receiving inspections.
Track and serialize parts throughout the manufacturing process.
Generate and maintain quality documentation and reports.
Act as a training resource for quality related implementations.
Assist with corrective actions.
Help solve problems confronting manufacturing performance.
Operate CMM for inspections, layout, and capability studies.
Conduct quality audits and assist with resulting action items.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed above.


Post-high school technical training along with previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
6-Sigma and/or Lean training and experience is a plus.
Aerospace experience is a plus.
