Job Description



SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Lead in daily AS9100 QMS administrative functions and Special Process functions. Perform audits IAW company procedures and work instructions across multiple departments and functional areas under direction of a lead auditor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Maintain Tool Control Calibration and Shelf Life programs IAW with internal work instructions and procedures
* Maintain MSDS logs.
* Plan, conduct and report periodic internal audits in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
* Review all newly released procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements and effective implementation of these procedures.
* Provide interdepartmental support to internal functions in the application, maintenance and improvement of QMS and other department-specific processes as necessary.
* Perform daily testing of chemical conversion solution baths to maintain the correct chemical composition.
* Maintain internal Stamp Identification and Authorization process.
* Compile and record Monitoring, Measurement, and Analysis metrics.
* Maintain other special processes as directed.
* Assist in the investigation of Root Causes, and the implementation of corrective actions.

Physical Demands: Lift up to fifty pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an air conditioned facility with many pieces of equipment that produce heat. The following are potential items encountered: fumes, dust, noise, hazardous/toxic chemicals. Appropriate training is provided and documented based on job placement that complies with OSHA and EPA regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* High school Diploma or equivalent.
* Bachelors of Science Degree from four year accredited university preferred.
