Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated (CCM), a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Project Manager/Inside Sales Representative for our Specialty Products, in its Carlisle, PA location. This position is the primary contact between CCM,  component suppliers, and all material distributors and sales representatives for the Edge Metal, Roof Garden, Skylights, and Paver product lines.  

Primary Job and Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customers’ RFQ’s (Requests for Quotes), solicit quotes from appropriate vendors, and determine best option to offer customer.
  • When appropriate, negotiate with suppliers to procure more competitive costs, availability, and quality of products.
  • Issue vendor purchase orders and manage customer orders from placement through shipment, providing accurate lead times and pricing, and issuing credit memos and RMA’s when required
  • Utilize CRM system to track quotes and initiate follow up with reps and distributors through both phone and email contact.
  • Develop and maintain a high level working knowledge of the company’s specialty products, inclusive of technical details, uses and capabilities, and features and benefits
  • Maintain a network of appropriate contacts within the various Departments such as Sales, Pricing & Customer Service, Purchasing, Product Management, etc., as well as with external vendors.
  • Regularly communicate with Product Managers regarding feedback obtained about competition and general market information.
  • Monitor technical documentation (i.e. Specifications and Details, Installation Guide) and work with internal personnel in the generation and updating of these documents.
  • Interact with architects, engineers and consultants to assist with system design and product selection.



  • A high school degree or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Candidate should have a minimum of two year’s sales/customer service & project management experience in the building products industry.
  • Candidate should be proficient in basic negotiating, multitasking, math and computer skills including Microsoft Office, and should have experience with an ERP system.
  • Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
