Job Summary:
Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for Production Workers, at its Carlisle, PA location.
Ability to work 3 shifts is required Monday - Friday, preference will be discussed during phone interview:
Fixed Shift 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Rotating Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Shift Utility production workers perform a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials throughout our plant and production process.
- Follow production schedules, job instructions, specifications and procedures
- Detect and/or correct and report faulty operations or defective materials
- Ensure safety compliance
- Operate forklift to assist with material handling
- Use bar code equipment and SGV systems
- Other production responsibilities as needed and assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to follow instructions and read production orders
- Experience with computers including various manufacturing programs
- Able to work fast and efficient and willing to work long hours during busy season
- Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate
Physical Demands:
- For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 65 pounds
- There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling
- Temperature changes throughout the year (hot in summer months, cold in winter months)
- In addition this position requires the following abilities: standing, walking, lifting, reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting.
