SUMMARY
Support Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Quality Department in developing the technical hands on skills and knowledge of its staff, through an approach that is in the production work environment to improve internal and external quality of product. As Product Quality Leader the focus would be to do deep dives into specific product lines over defined durations to improve operator skills thus impacting Quality DPPM, Delivery OTD and Cost Efficiency and Scrap.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Teach knowledge in theory/practice of concepts, facts and practices via hands on floor support. Provide the experience for understanding this knowledge by transforming it into real time application(s). This position is a collaborative effort supported by the following departments: Quality, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Training and COS to execute the following:

• Completion of training needs analysis through assessment, observation and oral questioning.
• Creation of quality improvement plans to support product quality improvement and reduction in DPPM.
• Collaborate with Techinical Training to design new training materials and courses to meet the needs of the company and add them to the existing overall training department's portfolio.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to manufacturing and engineering management in regards to assurance/compliance to industry workmanship standards and product quality.
• Enhancement of current working practices through a hands on approach with the operational and support departments.
• Able to evaluate and determine competency of skill and knowledge of those trained and create plans to bridge identified gaps and execute those plans.
• Support cross-training to promote the team's readiness to support training needs on any shift.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three years leadership and project management experience preferred.
• Certified IPC Trainer. Must hold or have held one or more IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.
• Engineering Degree and/or 5-10 years experience in our industry.
• Must have extensive knowledge of wire harness, connectors, PCB, box build processes and process equipment.
• Capable of creating training materials and aids (graphics, layout and media creation).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Graphic design software as in Corel, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
• Must be self confident, have a desire to learn and able to listen. Have a sense of humor, communication and theatrical skills. Be flexible, patient and capable of standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
• Able and willing to travel by air and auto throughout the USA.
• Manual dexterity used with repetitive finger motion.
• Must have English speaking and leadership skills.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739
