Product Marketing - New Product Development Internships

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for a Product Marketing - New Product Development Intern, for the summer of 2019 at our Headquarters in Carlisle, PA. This is a full time paid internship.

Project Summary:

The  Intern will evaluate CCM’s new product development process and research software that can automate new product development. CCM’s current process uses an Excel document to track development and gain cross departmental approvals. The current process is labor intensive and lacks the automation to obtain a group consensus in a timely manner. The current process also lacks the ability to track individual projects while providing key stakeholders the ability to review project status.  The new process should help define specific goals for each product line and align the projects or products that need to be delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Review CCM’s current  process
  • Interview CCM staff to understand phases of new product development
  • Research  software
  • Willingness to schedule and manage meetings with CCM staff and potential vendors


  • Candidate must be pursuing a degree in business, marketing or construction management
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA required
  • Must be willing to work in the Carlisle, PA area
  • Candidates must have strong verbal/written skills
  • Candidates must be able to organize multiple projects or processes at once
  • Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Additional Information:

The Product Marketing New Product Development (NPD) Intern will work with multiple departments within Carlisle Construction Materials. Some travel may be required to obtain feedback from multiple CCM locations.

Candidates must be available to work full-time the entire duration of the internship: May 2019-August 2019.  A formal presentation to an internal audience will be required at the completion of the project.
