Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the business in the development of global aftermarket product strategy that addresses the needs of customers/markets that will position CBF as a solution provider and industry leader in the development of friction and braking system products.

• Interface with engineering, R&D, Sales, and Manufacturing to drive the development and on time delivery of product solutions to meet customer requirements.

• Execute strategy through customers in coordination with the sales to drive penetration of CBF product positioning.

• Facilitate by for resell opportunities, sales, profitability, logistics and forecasting

• Conduct market research through voice of the customer to develop the advancement of products to address industry trends.

• Develop marketing collateral material and product positioning to support CBF portfolio of products.

• Manage the project pipeline coordinating priority, resources, timing and execution.

• Engage the sales team to develop knowledge of customer demand patterns and ordering to deliver accurate forecasts for annual planning (AOP) and monthly demand forecasts.

• Monitor competition and develop strategies to compete globally.

• Good understanding of new market opportunities, supportive market opportunities for sustainable growth

• Manage price and profitabilityto achieve sales and EBIT targets.

• Engage supply chain and manufacturing to achieve annual targets on productivity gains as defined in the annual planning process (AOP)

• Engage S&OP and manufacturing to ensure that OTD and PPM expectations from customers are being met.

• Achieve sales and EBIT targets as defined by the annual planning process (AOP)

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Degree required engineering, marketing, and/or business. MBA preferred.

Personal Characteristics: Must be an excellent communicator, facilitator and coach, as well as possess strong analytical abilities. Must demonstrate commitment to Carlisle's Values and Total Quality philosophy. Must demonstrate working knowledge in all disciplines of World Class Manufacturing Techniques. Strong sense of urgency. Meet deadlines. Able to work flexible hours. Strong analytical skills, computer literacy in the Microsoft environment.Team approach to problem solving. Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and/or in a cross-functional work team environment. Travel when required.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5years of sales and or product management or a combination of both.
