We are looking for a ProductManager to join our team at our Divisional HQ in Carlisle, PA. 

The Product Manager isresponsible for providing marketing and sales support for Thermoplastic (TPO)membranes and systems to Carlisle reps/distributors, roof consultants,specifiers, building owners, and contractors. In this role you will beresponsible for the coordination of the new product development efforts as wellas implementation of product line enhancements. In this capacity, the manager will maintain responsibility for dealingwith customer services support issues related to the TPO membranes and therelated accessory components.

Travel requirement: 50%overnight

Job Responsibilities:

•        Develop annual Marketing Plans in conjunction with the TPOMarketing Manager.

•        Responsible for the maintenance of marketing/advertisingmaterial and literature related to the TPO product line.

•        Monitor technical documentation and work with internalpersonnel in the generation and updating of these documents.

•        Manage the new product development process to permit theaddition of new products, systems, and accessory components.

•        Responsible for implementing and deploying new products,technologies, systems, to support the TPO product line.

•        Solicit input from the field on product quality, competitiveproducts, marketing programs, and potential new products.

•        Presentations to inside and outside groups regarding theproduct lines, promotional programs, product offerings and project status in aprofessional manner (both verbally and in writing).

•        Knowledge of the financial components of product andmarketing management, including product profit contributions, P & Lstatements, budgets and other financial metrics.

•        Analysis of sales data, sales trends, forecasting of futuresales are essential skills.

•        Customer service interaction including communicationsfacilitation between customers, Sales, R&D, Production, Shipping,Scheduling/Inventory Control, internal customer service and marketingcommunications.

•        Provide support as well as evaluate for products on jobsites with roofing contractors.

•        Determine market price constraints for the products/systems,as well as draft cost analysis using time studies and information oncompetitive products.

Job Requirements:

•        Bachelor’s degree inMarketing, Business Administration or related field

•        5+ years of experiencein building materials industry, preferably in commercial roofing

•        5+ years of marketing,sales, or product management experience

•        Strong relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to interact at all levels within anorganization

•        Strong communicationskills, both verbal and written

•        Strong presentationskills

•        Demonstrated knowledgeof the sales channel, commercial roofing sales channel is a plus

•        Demonstrated ability towork in a fast paced environment working with a strong sense of urgency

•        Strong problem solvingand decision making skills

•        Strong projectmanagement skills are preferred
