Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) - Pottstown has a new opening for a talented engineer to join our team in a Process Engineer II role. The Process Engineer supports process improvements, sustaining engineering, capital equipment specification and qualification and technical support for a specific manufacturing area(s) -- related to bulk cable or assembly production.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting/ problem resolution to ensure cost, quality, delivery and safety targets are met.
• Participates/lead continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing processes.
• Performs engineering analysis, DOEs, trials to improve and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Participates/Leads in Capital Equipment planning/procurement/design/Installation/Qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)
• Supports Design Engineering with Process, Tooling, Sustaining engineering activities.
• Process Monitoring and support of continuous improvement programs.
• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a factory environment to include walking the factory floor and other related activated as well as working in an administrative environment.

• Process Engineer I
0-2 years Entry Level. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Related field. For Plating Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Related field. Once trained, able to complete day to day tasks with little supervision, but requires guidance and oversight on more complex projects. Previous engineering co-op experience in an applicable field. Able to participate in and advise cross functional project teams. Basic knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma Tools.
• Process Engineer II
2-7 years All requirement for Level I above. Master's degree/ or certification in Six Sigma preferred. Master's degree desirable.
Formal Problem Solving Training (RCA, PDCA, 8D, etc.). Experience with Lean/Six Sigma Tools. Able to lead cross functional project teams.
• Sr. Process Engineer
7-10 years All Requirements per Level II. Repeatedly demonstrates success to effectively organizing, planning, and executing process engineering projects from start to finish. Project Leader for most Complex Process Engineering Projects. Subject Matter Expert in process engineering related activities for an area.
