SUMMARY

O365 Administrator -- This individual should be able to identify, research, recommend, and implement solutions and applications which support CarlisleIT's current and future overall organizational vision and strategies. Working as part of a small team the candidate will develop the roadmap and service delivery for the full suite of tools and applications within the Office 365 landscape. Expertise in collaboration tools such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook, Teams, Flow is part of the daily workload. The Administrator will have a background in support of Office 365 with a history of developing Office 365 / SharePoint solutions and will provide support services to internal personnel for complex, technical and configuration issues related to O365 applications. Administrator ensures effective use of existing applications and delivers new solutions on time and with high quality.

The Administrator will drive user adoption and advancement of cloud services using Office 365. Along with, promoting user adoption; developing and implementing a governance plan, implementing compliance, enforcing ownership of applications and sites with stakeholders, collaborating with developers and testing and will lead the review of implementing advanced features. Administrator will also participate in data management and migration projects across the business. The position requires deep Exchange, SharePoint, Mobile Device Management knowledge, and a strong understanding of the following: Site configurations and development, Document Management, and Compliance Management.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Project management experience implementing and maintaining Office 365 solutions that focus on workflow, document management, and content creation for web-focused business teams.
* Hands on administration experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Azure, OneDrive, Yammer, SharePoint Teams, Skype Audio Conferencing.
* Stays up to date on O365 changes MS releases around each O365 product including Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, etc.
* Lead activities around O365 licensing, experience in managing user access and counts.
* Develop, Maintain and update O365 governance documentation with O365 product owners.
* Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage\support the O365 environment for multiple apps--Azure, SharePoint, Groups.
* Partners with IT and other workgroups for the integration of applications that support Office 365 solutions.
* Provides training on O365 solution offerings, as well as IT orientation and security training.
* Assists staff with troubleshooting complex technical issues experienced by internal and external customers.
* Provides system support and maintains uptime as defined within the IT acceptable standards.
* Performs application maintenance, e.g. system parameters, user permissions, etc.
* Addresses production issues experienced by O365 users.
* Maintain the O365 Online infrastructure (Dev, Test, Production & Disaster Recovery).
* Serves as an IT liaison with CarlisleIT Business by serving as the IT point of contact regarding new requests related to applications and solutions to meet business needs.
* Performs business analyst functions including but not limited to:

* Defining requirements
* Act as a quality assurance testing resource.
* Contribute to the overall success of CarlisleIT and the IT Department

* Experience configuring SharePoint sites.
* Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks, both long and short term, simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment.
* Ability to identify deficient processes/procedures and assist in the development and implementation of solutions.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor Degree or above from a four-year college or university in Computer Systems, or other related field desired.
* At least 4 years' experience in Information Technologies, or another related area with a high level of experience supporting O365 server applications in a corporate environment.

* Microsoft Office Systems Administrator or Specialist Certification is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The office is an air-conditioned facility; duties require travel to factories with varying environments that have pieces of equipment that produce heat. The following are potential items encountered in the factories: fumes, dust, noise, hazardous/toxic chemicals. Appropriate training is provided and documented based on factory locations that comply with OSHA and EPA regulations.
