Job Description

General Functions
Reporting to the Regional Information Technology Manager, this position, based at our headquarters location, is responsible for the management and support of our computer networks, including storage and servers, with the objective of maintaining security, availability, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will also be required to help provide general IT/desktop support to around 30 users who are based at the location.
Network Administration

• Manage Carlisle Fluid Technologies' multi-site LANs/WANs, in accordance with the company's expectations for security, performance and availability. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with network systems, engaging and working with subject matter experts and vendor support technicians as needed.
• Serve as a team member of the Carlisle Fluid Technologies global IT organization and collaborate with Carlisle's corporate IT organization to support cyber security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity planning, including the management of network intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Serve as the technical liaison with Carlisle Fluid Technologies' network and telephony providers.
Systems Administration

• Manage Carlisle Fluid Technologies' IT infrastructure, including SANs, servers, switches, routers, desktops/laptops, and peripheral hardware.
• Manage enterprise software systems, including virtualization software, firewalls, virus protection systems, internet monitoring systems, and cloud-based solutions.
• Identify gaps between business requirements and system capabilities and recommend solutions.
• Systems deployment, including design, installation, capacity planning, upgrades, and configuration.
• Ensure safety and security of Carlisle Fluid Technologies' IT systems by overseeing backups of vital services to provide high availability, high performance and highly secure service implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve help desk issues with network, desktop clients, and remote personnel.
• Ensure IT systems function in accordance with the company's expectations for security, performance, and availability.
Project Management

• Manage project timelines and tasks associated with hardware, software, network, and telephony implementation and upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure timely completion of tasks associated with IT infrastructure projects.
• Identify network / telephony requirements for new office locations.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems by methodically working through issues, determining causes of operating issues, and deploying a solution.
• Excellent customer-facing/customer-service skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences

• Microsoft Environment: Windows Server, Windows 7/10, Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL Server
• Servers and SAN solutions
• Wireless infrastructure
• Cisco Systems -- firewalls, routers, switches, WAN optimizers
• VMWare
• Office 365 (One Drive, Azure AD, Exchange online)
• Telephony systems (on premise or hosted solutions)
• KPI Measurement Tools & Dashboards
• Misc. software/systems: backup solutions, virus protection software, etc.
Education and Experience

• BS degree or similar degree with major course work in information technology, network administration, or related areas.
• IT industry certifications a plus
