Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator I, at its Puyallup, WA location.  The IT Network Administrator I is a member of a talented technical team primarily based in Carlisle, PA.  The team supports IT systems, software, networks, PC’s and other IT infrastructure including plant manufacturing based technology. 

The working hours of this position are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 

Travel:

Approximately 10-25% travel to Accella locations. Occasional travel to the headquarters location in Carlisle PA is also required

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Support MS Windows and CentOS servers located throughout our Western locations' data center and at various manufacturing and warehouse locations
  • Perform mid-level maintenance and administrative tasks in VMWare vCenter
  • Assist the team in evaluating solutions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining infrastructure systems
  • Provide support for MS Office 365 software including implementation assistance
  • Provide support for networking equipment at all Accella locations.  Primarily this equipment is Cisco
  • Provide support for Cisco phone systems at all Accella locations including deployment of the systems
  • Generate knowledge base articles and other technical support documentation for systems and applications
  • Provide level 1 and 2 support for IT related requests and issues as part of the PA based service desk team approximately 25% of the time
  • Must have the ability to relay complex technical information to non-technical individuals and the ability to interact with end users to determine or diagnose network and systems issues

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline is preferred
  • Associates degree with 1-3 years of related experience considered
  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience in an IT support role that involved regular customer contact in-person and over the phone, along with support with MS Office products
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written are required
