Job Description

Perform a variety of SA functions including for wire and cable cutting/prepping, kitting, Carlisle Express, laser marking, labeling and material data entry processes. However, the SA Material Handler's core accountability will be to assist its team in achieving smooth and efficient operations of the SA area with added focus on continued customer service and productivity improvements. Work in a team environment and able to follow direction and processes to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of Carlisle IT's SA department.


* Examine work orders requirements to determine required parts and materials
* Hand count and/or operate weighing scale to ensure proper quantities of parts/material are pulled
* Cut wire and cable materials to work order requirements
* Print labels using work order and scanner for appropriate information
* Detailed knowledge of SFFB, Kent Kitting Application and other material transactions within SAP
* • Using MB51/MMBE/ZMM010/ in SAP to look up history demands
Interact with other departments to resolve w/o discrepancies as needed

* Maintain orderly, clean and safe work area and actively promotes 5S practices
* Promotes and maintain a positive working environment for the team
* • Computer and keyboarding skills required
* • Able to operate equipment auto packaging/skin pack
* • Certified to operate Wave/Big Joe
* • Able to read the drawing in order to print labels/laser mark
* • Understand the MTRL data entry for creating shortages
* • Set up wire cutting machines to strip/cut wire and cable
* • Print product and process labels
* • Operate laser wire marking machines
* • Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
* • Create IDR's for w/o for label/laser discrepancies
* • Regular and predictable on-site attendance

*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*

* Experience and able to operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, re-spoolers, logistics software, SAP ERP package and other warehouse machine operations
* Basic math skills.
* Computer and keyboarding skills required
* Able to communicate effectively and maintain relations with internal and external customers
* Demonstrate sound judgment when following through with priorities
* Able to handle interruptions and maintain focus
* Team oriented individual; willing to work cross functionally in various areas of the warehouse
* Flexible and adaptable to work in a rapidly changing environment
* Able and willing to work flexible/additional hours on short notice


* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

* 1-3 years in a prior inventory control role

Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739


* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
