Job Description

Individual is responsible for programming and tooling support of production, as measured by labor efficiencies, automation, scrap reduction and tooling controls. This individual will assist in lean manufacturing projects, Continuous Improvement activities, New Product Launch and start up support.
Support Continuous Improvement Activities
Support new product / in-sourcing projects
Run prototype production parts
Train and support production associates
Define / set up / create work holding as needed
Review tooling selection / implementation and validation
Prove out post of program at machine
Work with COS on standard work
Follow up on changes implemented
Maintain programming matrix
Develop and apply programming / machining skills
Develop and apply troubleshooting / problem-solving skills

Associate's degree from a technical school preferred; committed to continuing education.
Minimum of 2 years machining experience.
Previous programming experience preferred; strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Must possess strong communication and general problem solving skills, as well as the ability to learn quickly. The ability to work with teams as well as independently based on objectives is desired.
