Job Description


The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repairs, adjustments and ongoing maintenance of the facility and manufacturing equipment.


* Receives requests for maintenance, prioritizes work, analyzes needs and follows through to ensure request is completed.
* Troubleshoots and conducts periodic inspections on machinery to determine work required.
* Assists the maintenance supervisor or lead on major repairs
* Responsible for maintaining routine daily, weekly, monthly and yearly assignments to include cleaning, safety and minor repairs to the facility and its assets. Backup for Maintenance Assistant, duties and responsibilities.
* This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Entry level position requiring high mechanical aptitude. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* PC skills preferable.


* Must have a working comprehension of the English language complimented with workplace levels of grammar, composition, oral and written communication skills.

Carlisle IT Franklin is a clean facility housing different kinds of machinery, equipment, processes and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.
