Job Description

Ultimate RB, a Carlisle Company, is a leading manufacturer of recycled rubber products and one of the largest and most technically advanced tire recyclers in the world.  Our Delphos, Ohio plant specializes in high quality customized rolled rubber products.  We are seeking a Maintenance Elec Tech for Night Shift 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM Monday to Thursday.  Friday overtime is required.

General Summary:

This position is responsible for the maintenance of equipment such as presses, augers, conveyors, mills, shredders, rolling stock and support equipment.  The ability to weld, fabricate, troubleshoot AC and DC motor and motor controls is essential.  Five years industrial maintenance experience is required.

Required Skills include:

  • Welding: Tig Mig and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW); cutting torch and plasma torch operations
  • Fabrication: machining small parts within a tolerance of .001 inches
  • Hydraulics: understand fundamental competent and functions and can perform trouble shooting on systems
  • Pneumatics: trouble shooting and repair of existing systems
  • Plumbing: basic knowledge of residential systems
  • Trouble-shooting and repair of mechanical systems
  • Electrical trouble-shooting and repair skills preferred (480VAC and motors)
  • Forklift and crane experience a plus

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five years industrial maintenance experience required
  • Pre-employment demonstration of welding competence
  • Successful pre-employment background and drug screening
  • LME license preferred (Limited Maintenance Electrician "industrial")

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing
  • Walking - all areas of the operation must be accessed
  • Climbing - all areas of the operation must be accessed
  • Sight and hearing - Must be able to effectively communicate on the factory floor.  The need to listen and observe is critical to maintaining an effective awareness of the events occurring in the plant environment.
  • Stooping and bending - Required in some confined situations in order to observe or gather information to assist with problem solving.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
