Job Description

I. Job Summary:



This position is responsible for maintaining all the areas of the building in a clean manner.



II. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



*
• Must maintain all non-production areas in a clean manner, areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and office cubicles.
*
• May assist with other maintenance/facilities projects as directed.
*
• Maintain an inventory of custodial supplies and equipment in the building
*
• Follow the directions as given by the department management regarding cleaning and work assignments.
*
• Communicate with department management any issues or concerns related to the condition, safety or cleanliness of all aspects of the buildings.
*
• Be able to work without supervision, detail-oriented and organized.



III. Skills and/or Experience Needed:



*
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and instructions when given by supervisor/manager.
*
• Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
*
• Ability to follow instructions and perform necessary duties.
*
• Must be able to verify work completed is per instructions given.



IV. Physical Demands:



*
• While performing duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, and/or bend.
*
• May frequently lift and/or move up files or boxes up to 30 pounds.
*
• May occasionally be required to lift maximum of 40 lbs.
*
• May be subjected to occasional irregular or extended work hours.
*
• Must be able to work in an environment that may be subject to occasional loud noises, hazardous materials and chemicals.
