Carlisle Interconnect Technologies a leader in the interconnect market for over 25 years and supplies to over 90% of the world's leading aerospace, avionics and electronics OEM's. has an immediate need for a Machine Operator I. Candidate must have the ability to operate and monitor machine functions; will do minor set-ups or perform minor set-up adjustments; and distinguishes tooling and part numbers. Records production output and charts process control data. Will change tooling as needed.
Note: This is a Full-time Temporary position
Responsibilities:
• Receives and follows verbal and written instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Starts and observes machine operations.
• Ability to observe the operation of three machines at the same time.
• Maintains machinery and maintenance logs.
• Maintains production schedules and output.
• May use scales, microscopes, calipers and measurement instruments while performing duties.
• Ability to verify conformance of finished parts to specifications.
• Shuts down machine and notifies supervisor or lead if parts do not meet specifications.
• Performs all other related jobs and functions as assigned and/or required.
• Follow all department safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment as required.



Skills and/or Experience Needed:


• Must be able to read prints.

• Must have some mechanical ability.

• Able to read and understand MSO's, drawings and related paperwork.
Language Skills:


• Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions.

• Must be proficient in English.

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Reasoning Ability:


• Ability to follow instructions and perform necessary duties.

• Must be able to verify work completed is per instructions given.
Physical Demands:


• While performing duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, stretch, speak and/or listen.

• May occasionally be required to lift maximum of 20 lbs.

• May occasionally be required to work irregular and/or extended hours.

• This position may use a computer to access, input, and retrieve data.

• May be subjected to occasional irregular or extended work hours.

• Must be able to work in an environment that may be subject to occasional loud noises, hazardous materials and chemicals.
