Job Description

SUMMARY

Principal responsibilities: administer and support PC & Network Hardware and Software. Administer help desk, evaluate, maintain & report on all PC and Network support issues. Install, configure, and upgrade PC hardware and Software components. Responsibilities also include troubleshoot all PC/Network problems, troubleshoot all network problems, and support new technology implementation.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Knowledge of PC/Network hardware and software
* SharePoint Administration (preferred)
* Administer Help Desk - Evaluates, maintains & reports on all PC and Network support issues
* Initiate investigations and actions resulting from request for user assistance
* Install, configure and upgrade PC hardware and Software components
* Troubleshoot all PC/Network problems
* Coordinate the documentation of system set-ups, schedules, templates and procedures and support new technology implementation
* Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
* Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions



*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*

* This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

* Organized methodical work style with strong coordination and multi-functional interface capabilities
* Prior experience in planning, designing and implementing SharePoint including, but not limited to, authentication, security roles, user groups, and item level security
* Knowledge of PC hardware and software
* Experience working with servers
* Knowledge of MS Windows networking
* Prior experience onsite in an IT work environment with strong interaction with all levels of employees
* Previous experience helping employees face to face with desktop/laptop/printer issues



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* BA degree preferred / degree from four-year college or business school, or equivalent experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 4 year minimum experience required



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739

* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
