Job Description

Responsible for ensuring inventory production quality and efficiency levels and implementing corrective action as required. Performed data entry duties into operational systems and performed inventory control on all activities related to warehouse operation, shipping / receiving.


* Own inventory management for the warehouse.
* Ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements.
* Generate, pull and provide accurate and timely supermarket stock
* Interface with supermarket personnel to ensure accuracy of their stock
* Manage slow and non-moving inventory process
* Ensures compliance of all inventory processes and procedures.
* Perform cycle counts as a daily routine.
* Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored
* Perform inventory preparation and manage physical inventory process (Weekly and Monthly)
* Complete Daily and weekly safety walks/checks.
* Maintain a neat and safe work environment
* Operate material handling equipment Including potential use of forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training.
* Load and/or unload trucks as required.
* Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Must be able to work in a factory environment to include walking in the factory floor, walking up/down stairs and other related activities in addition working in an administrative environment, to include computer and presentation skills.

Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses are required for the job when in the manufacturing areas. Safety toed shoes or boots (ASTM 2413-11 standard) are required in specific manufacturing areas.

* High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to complete the Basics of Supply Chain Management module of the APICS (or equivalent) within two years of employment is preferred.
* One (1) year experience or more in warehouse, stockroom or inventory control position(s) is mandatory. Cable and electronic component experience is desired.
* Sound knowledge of fundamental material handling processes as applicable including: customer order fulfillment activities & shipping, packaging, receiving, inventory control and disposition, supply documentation, data and transactional management, material distribution and/or delivery, warehouse or stockroom control techniques, and cycle or physical counting.
* Facility may require experience in Lean Manufacturing (COS) or other continuous improvement including understanding of Kanban and other pull systems.
* A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
* Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment. Demonstrates sound judgment when following through with priorities.
* Ability to effectively to questions from managers and employees.
* Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts with respect to job-related situations.
* Computer and keyboarding skills required.
* Ability to handle interruptions and maintain focus.
* Ability to work flexible/additional hours on short notice.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and good driving record is desirable.
* Basic knowledge of transactions within ERP systems (SAP).
* Computer skills -- General knowledge of MS-Excel, Word and Outlook.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
