Product Marketing Intern

The Product Marketing Intern will provide marketing support through activities relating to marketing, sales and new product development to support the Foodservice and JanSan group. The primary focus is supporting new product development product life cycle management. The Product Marketing Intern interfaces with all departments within the organization.

Job Description

• With the assistance of Product Manager and/or Marketing Director, work new product or product improvement through new product development cycle
• Support new product development through sample product placement, market research, and end user product use surveys
• Assist with the development of marketing collateral materials, sales promotions and press releases (including print and digital.)
• Assist in creation of customer specific product or support material
• Assist with preliminary end user research and analysis to determine new product opportunities, specifications and key customer requirements
• Assist with monthly sales analysis and summary of all product sales
• Support requests for information from field sales, national accounts and customer service on all product related issues within category
• Coordinate and support launch of new products
• Research and evaluate foodservice and/or JanSan trends and competitive activity
• Industry trade show support


• Working towards Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
• Strong time management, project management and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet
• Understanding of the concepts of marketing a product
• Ability to multi-task and succeed in rapidly evolving environment
