I. Job Summary:



Perform inspections of product to verify conformance to Tri-Star Electronics and customer requirements.



II.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



General:

*
• Read and interpret simple drawing
*
• Able to read and interpret work instruction (routing, OCP, EPS)
*
• Able to perform simple math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide
*
• Perform visual inspection under microscope
*
• Able use hand tools: caliper, micrometer, go/no go gages and crimp tools.
*
• Must communicate effectively, both written and verbal (English), to employees at all levels.
*
• Perform annealing inspection per OCP-002
*
• Perform plating inspection per QCP-005-1
*
• Perform Selective plating Inspection per QCP-005-2
*
• Able to operate X-ray thickness machine at plating and selective plating
*
• Able to make transaction in Oracle (Move, Quality plan, etc)
*
• To use statistical sampling plan
*
• Ensures tools are clean, maintained and calibrated
*
• Must be able to understand departmental documentation and be able to process accurately.
*
• Prior experience in a Quality Inspection environment and High school diploma preferred
*
• Basic computer skills

• This position may be subject to on the job interruptions which may cause a change in priorities and/or work focus.

• This position is primarily a sedentary position working in a controlled, quiet office environment. While performing duties of this position, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, and/or bend.
*
• May occasionally lift and/or move up files or boxes up to 20 pounds.
*
• May be subjected to occasional irregular or extended work hours.
*
• Must be able to work in an environment that may be subject to occasional loud noises, hazardous materials and chemicals.



High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years Quality Inspection experience desired.
