Job Description

Carlisle is seeking a self-starter Human Resource (HR) Coordinator Assistant to work in an innovative, dynamic and high-performance manufacturing office in Kent. This role will provide key support to a talented Human Resource Team and will assist in the daily HR administrative functions of the following functions: payroll administration, benefits coordination, records maintenance, employee engagement and other HR related projects.


* Manage HR files of personnel and benefit documents
* Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
* Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential
* Abide by company enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
* Assists the HR team with new hire orientation, scheduling of candidate interviews, and other related tasks, as assigned
* Create new hire packets and benefit packets for orientation
* Support Events Committee Meetings and events
* Responsible for timely filing of all HR correspondence
* Serves as main contact person for Employee badging/Vanpool/Carpool/ORCA pass/Parking administration
* Responsible for Employee of the Month recognition, birthday card distribution and Service Year awards
* Complete all Voice of the Employee (VOE) and unemployment paperwork
* Assist the Recruiter by completing data entry into the ATS, updating and managing job postings, checking references, background checks and conducting phone screens, as needed,
* Enter completed training records accurately into the training database
* Act as the main contact for all training database reporting
* Data entry of new hire information
* Provide general office support, to include:
* Back-up receptionist coverage
* Order office supplies as needed
* Create personnel and benefit files for new hires
* Assist with benefit and employee communication
* Meeting coordination: scheduling rooms and arranging food & beverages
* Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface or are brought to your attention
* Support HR- related projects, as assigned
* Work closely with Recruiter to create a great candidate and on-boarding experience, as assigned

* High school diploma or GED, required
* 2 years of HR-related work experience, required
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience, preferred

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.


* Payroll, recruitment and employee engagement program experience, a plus
* Experience working in a diverse environment at all levels of an organization in a positive and professional manner
* Strong attention to detail and project management
* Ability to remain positive and adaptable attitude in an ever-changing work environment with competing demands
* Able to uphold Carlisle IT policy, procedures and culture through relations with internal and external contacts
* Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of payroll and human resource work.
* High energy and initiative is a must
