Job Description


• Assist with the preparation of the business operating plan as well as the monthly forecasts. Responsible for producing various financial reports to be used by management and for analyzing data related to revenue streams, cost center expenses and the overall business. The position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and works closely with other members of the financial and operational accounting teams.


• Assist with the financial plan processes for the company, including development of the

• forecasts
• annual operating plan
• Assist with the timely consolidation of monthly financial results including the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Prepare operational and financial reports and provide analysis of data to support management decisions for reducing costs, improving profits and achieving strategic goals and plans.
• Serve as a resource to the management team, providing timely and accurate information.
• Analyze and report on key metrics and results.
• Interact with financial and operational accounting teams to support timely completion of monthly financial reporting while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, Foreign governments, Customs etc.

• Evaluate existing business processes to identify areas of opportunities.
• Prepare CAPEX spending and return on investment analysis as required.

• Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being receptive to all training made available by the company.


• Displays effective leadership.

• Other duties as required in support of the department and company.


• BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in equivalent position, manufacturing or public accounting preferred.
• Capable of analyzing data to reason and reach conclusions with minimum guidance.
• Competent in the application of accounting, finance, auditing and cost control technologies.
• System requirements include strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and a working knowledge of Hyperion and ERP systems. Access is a plus.
• A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Articulate with use of good grammar skills.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to meet duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision. Dependability, accuracy and highest integrity are essential.
