Job Description

Operates, troubleshoots and maintains general fabrication equipment that deburrs, spot welds, and countersinks metal and plastic parts.


* Sets-up and operates tooling and equipment to cut, form, notch, and otherwise fabricate raw material in accordance with specifications using the following machines: Fladder, punch press, spot welder, timesaver, cut-off saw and polisher.
* Ability to multitask numerous operations to support key work centers.
* Performs inspection functions using various measuring devices such as calipers, squares, countersink gages and fixtures.
* Must always observe environmental rules and regulations.
* Makes sure that workstation is clean, organized and free of hazardous materials

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1 year of related experience is preferred


* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Articulate with use of good grammar skills.

* A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.

Job Skills

* Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and schematics
* Ability to use inspection tools
* Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure
* Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment
* Writing skills required to complete documents and forms
* Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.
