Job Description


The Process Engineering Technician supports plant safety, product quality, manufacturing/prototype order on-time delivery, and continuous improvement projects within their assigned area of responsibility. The role requires strong collaboration and organizational skills.


* Participate in value stream team, productivity, product quality, safety, and waste meetings/projects within area of responsiblity
* Understand and interpret product/work order requirements, product inspection techniques and test procedures
* Compile, analyze, and summarize test data
* *Other duties may be assigned

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* 3-5 years of experience in an engineering technician role


* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
* Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
* Ability to apply algebraic and statistical tools for analysis of product and process
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
* Ability to use of MS Office software including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
* Ability to use project management tools such as a charter and Smartsheet


* Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
* Frequently required to stand and walk
* Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Specific vision abilities required, i.e. close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus

This is an air-conditioned facility with many pieces of equipment that produce heat. The following are potential items encountered: fumes, dust, noise, hazardous/toxic chemicals. Appropriate training is provided and documented based on job placement that complies with OSHA and EPA regulations.
