Job Description


SUMMARY
Assists supervisors with the training and development of team members ensuring the maximum and efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and facilities in order to positively impact performance metrics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• • Assists in the training and development of assemblers and operators.
• • Completes paperwork clearly and accurately
• • Assists with first article and/or NPI assemblies as needed
• • Demonstrates a high level of creativity; continuously looks for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency through the use of the Carlisle Operating System
• • Provides back-up for supervisors as needed
• • Interfaces with engineers as required
• • Maintains and posts performance measures for SQDCI Metrics in line with the Carlisle Operating System
• • Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

• • High school diploma or equivalent
• • 1 year related experience preferred
• • Satisfy Machine Operator 1, Mechanical Assembler II, or Electrical Assembler II requirements
• • Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, read blueprints, drawings and schematics
• • Must have an excellent working comprehension of the English language complimented with workplace levels of grammar, composition, oral and written communication skill
• • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making skills
• • Ability to work with minimal supervision
• • SAP and Windchill knowledge preferred
• • Ability to understand and apply lean concepts
