Job Description


* Capable of performing all duties of an EAII and/or EAIIF
* Inspects and tests Electrical and/or Fiber Optic Components and assemblies in accordance with required workmanship standards, conformance to blueprint/drawing specifications and verification of compliance to purchase order
* Verifies the conformance of assemblies in accordance to blueprints/drawings, specification or established operating procedures
* Verifies documentation to the requirements on the purchase order
* Prepares inspection reports and completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of electrical and/or fiber optic components and assemblies
* Identify cables and wires with use of basic color code sequence
* Demonstrates a high level of creativity; continuously looks for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency
* Interfaces with various departments to obtain additional information for testing or inspection of product
* Completes the assembly of electrical and/or fiber optic components and assemblies by means of:

* Acceptable processing
* Utilization of hand tools and automated machines and components
* Works in conjunction with customer drawings, parts list, and bill of materials, wire diagrams, schematics, tables and work instructions
* Responsible for work area clean up and work bench organization to 5S standards
* Meets company attendance standards and exhibit predictable and consistent daily attendance

* You must prove proficiency with an 80% and above average score and maintain active status in the below Carlisle IT Technical training course(s):

* Carlisle New Hire training
* IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS Certification (All modules)
* J-STD-001 CIS Certification (All modules)
* Process specific hands on training
* Inspector Level-1 training
* Touch-1 training and/or fiber optic testing and/or as required customer specific quality certifications
* Understanding of and experience in a lean manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments
* Able to read and understand multiple customer documentation to include customer blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics, manufacturing instructions, training manuals, and specifications
* Able to work effectively with all levels of employees, leads, and supervisors
* Able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules while demonstrating effective decision-making
* Able and willingness to work overtime are required. Some positions require working a 10- or 12-hour schedule as an essential duty. Work schedule variations due to customer demands are common and should be expected, however, regular 8 hour schedules are typically set as follows:

* Day Shift 6:30am-3:00pm
* Swing Shift 4:00pm-12:30am
