SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, verifies the conformance of assemblies in accordance to documented procedures to ensure high quality levels at various stages of production

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Capable of performing all duties of an EAII and/or EAIIF
• Inspects and tests Electrical and/or Fiber Optic Components and assemblies in accordance with required workmanship standards, conformance to blueprint/drawing specifications and verification of compliance to purchase order
• Verifies the conformance of assemblies in accordance to blueprints/drawings, specification or established operating procedures
• Verifies documentation to the requirements on the purchase order
• Prepares inspection reports and completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of electrical and/or fiber optic components and assemblies
• Identify cables and wires with use of basic color code sequence
• Demonstrates a high level of creativity; continuously looks for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency
• Interfaces with various departments to obtain additional information for testing or inspection of product
• Completes the assembly of electrical and/or fiber optic components and assemblies by means of:


• Acceptable processing
• Utilization of hand tools and automated machines and components
• Works in conjunction with customer drawings, parts list, and bill of materials, wire diagrams, schematics, tables and work instructions
• Responsible for work area clean up and work bench organization to 5S standards
• Meets company attendance standards and exhibit predictable and consistent daily attendance

•Other duties as required in support of the department and the company•

QUALIFICATIONS

• You must prove proficiency with an 80% and above average score and maintain active status in the below Carlisle IT Technical training course(s):

• Carlisle New Hire training
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS Certification (All modules)
• J-STD-001 CIS Certification (All modules)
• Process specific hands on training
• Inspector Level-1 training
• Touch-1 training and/or fiber optic testing and/or as required customer specific quality certifications
• Understanding of and experience in a lean manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments
• Able to read and understand multiple customer documentation to include customer blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics, manufacturing instructions, training manuals, and specifications
• Able to work effectively with all levels of employees, leads, and supervisors
• Able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules while demonstrating effective decision-making
• Able and willingness to work overtime are required. Some positions require working a 10- or 12-hour schedule as an essential duty. Work schedule variations due to customer demands are common and should be expected, however, regular 8 hour schedules are typically set as follows:


• Day Shift 6:30am-3:00pm

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ YOE as an EAIQ/EAII or equivalent

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Able to read English language technical documents, including customer blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics, manufacturing instructions and training manuals
