Job Description

Verifies the conformance of product in accordance to documented procedures to ensure high quality levels at various stages of production.

All duties of an EAIIIM
Inspect and test Electrical and/or Fiber Optic Components and Electro-Mechanical Assemblies in accordance with required Workmanship Standards, conformance to Blueprint/Drawing specifications and verification of compliance to Purchase Order
Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies for conformance to required workmanship standards
Verify the conformance of assemblies in accordance to blueprints/drawings, specification or established operating procedures
Verify documentations to the requirements on the purchase order
Interface with various departments to obtain additional information for testing or inspection of product
Prepare inspection reports and complete all necessary paperwork relating to the building of cable assemblies
Demonstrate a high level of creativity; continuously looking for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency
Assemble electrical components by means of acceptable processing, utilizing hand tools and automated machines and components
Prepare inspection report
Helps train lower level inspectors
Customer approved Source Inspector and / or perform first article inspection and prepare report
Work in conjunction with customer drawings, parts list, bill of materials, wire diagrams, schematics, tables and work instructions
Responsible for work area clean up and work bench organization to 5S standards
Meet company attendance standard and exhibit predictable and consistent daily attendance
Regular and predictable on-site attendance

Able to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions and standard work documents in English language
Understanding of and experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment
Minimum requirement of "Certified To" qualification and maintain active status in the below CarlisleIT Technical training courses
J Std (as required for position)
Process Specific Hands On Training
ESD and FOD awareness courses and any other training found to be required
Must prove proficiency in the following Training Course:
Quality Inspection
Cirrus Testing and/or Fiber Optic Testing and/or as required customer specific Quality Certifications
Able to read basic blueprints
Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments
Good reading, writing and mathematical skills
Able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include following verbal and written instructions using standard work documents
Demonstrates good judgment and decision making skills
Adaptable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders, make a schedule change or work on special projects to meet customer demands
Able and willingness to work overtime are required. Some positions require working a 10- or 12-hour schedule as an essential duty. Work schedule variations due to customer demands are common and should be expected, however, regular 8 hour schedules are typically set as follows:
Day Shift 6:00am-2:30pm
Swing Shift 4:00pm-12:30am

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
2+ years' experience as an EAIIIM

Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

This position may/may not require passing annual eye testing as required by customers for production activities. If required, exams will be provided by a medically qualified/trained person and shall be paid for by the company
