We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Document Control Coordinator on 1st shift. Hours 7:00am - 4:00pm Mon- Thurs and 7:00am - 11:00am Fridays... 1/2 day Fridays!!!
The Document Control Coordinator works with product engineering to complete activities related to first article, engineering change order, ERP updates, quote and order release processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Reviews customer requirements under engineering direction and develops documentation, Control Plans, First Article Inspection Reports, Process Control Documents, Bills of Materials, and Manufacturing Routers for made to order products using Engineering Databases and tools.

• Review Purchase order requirements (Quality Clauses etc.) and ensures actions are taken to comply with contracts.

• Performs item, BOM, and router maintenance and configuration management functions in Baan (ERP) System.

• Coordinates First Article Inspection Activities. Generates First Article Reports for new products per AS9102 Standard.

• Coordinates Engineering Change order process (ECO) and Configuration Control Board (CCB). Executes changes directed by ECO to update documentation revisions and ERP system information. Under engineering direction, performs updates to existing process documentation to ensure processes are updated to current standards.

• Performs cost analysis to ensure total cost is within 10% of quoted assumptions. Establishes manufacturing rates based on known standards.

• Performs item, BOM, and router maintenance and configuration management functions in Baan (ERP) System.

• Performs various engineering and Configuration management tasks as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work in a factory environment to include walking the factory floor and other related activated as well as working in an administrative environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Level I
0 years. Entry Level. Once trained, able to complete day to day tasks with little supervision, but requires guidance and oversight on more complex projects. Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or Associates Degree is preferred.
Level II
2-5 years Firm understanding of engineering and manufacturing requirements, processes and configuration management tools and databases. Able to effectively navigate, overcome obstacles and manage activities listed above with little supervision. Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or Associates Degree is preferred.
Level III
5-10 years Repeatedly demonstrates success in effectively organizing, planning, and execution of activities listed above. Considered a Subject Matter expert in areas listed above and works to improve efficiency and quality of processes (PCD, Control plans, ECO, FAIR. ERP Item master data etc.) via process changes and system implementations. Effectively Trains and provides guidance to other personnel. Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or Associates Degree is preferred.

Computer skills -- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Products. Able to become proficient at advanced configuration database software used to create documentation, BOMs and routers
