SUMMARY

The Document Control Clerk is responsible for the oversight and coordination of release and retention of operations documentation.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Gathers documentation packages from multiple sources, and prepares each package for release and retention
* Releases change notifications and promotes data package release status within Product Data Management (PDM) software
* Coordinates and facilitates the assembly and transfer of data packages to internal and external destinations

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Two year technical degree in an operations related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience within an ISO controlled and/or government regulated environment



LANGUAGE SKILLS

* The employee must have a working comprehension of the English language complimented with workplace levels of grammar, composition, oral and written communication skills



JOB SKILLS

* Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once
* Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups in both written and presentation form
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and is able to use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & associated software efficiently
* Strong desire to work in a team made up of a cross functional group of individuals
* Self-starter that is able to work extended hours as required



WORK ENVIRONMENT

Carlisle IT Franklin is a clean facility housing different kinds of machinery, equipment, processes and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.
