SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Business Improvement Team Leader position leads Supply Chain team efforts to systematize the formal ERP structure in CIT factories. Converts supply chain systems to the full utilization of the ERP system for order intake, materials planning, production planning, warehouse management and shipment.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Analyze current state of the supply chain systems in a factory and identify the scope of work for a full conversion to ERP utilization.
• Create master project plan for the scope of work identified.
• Identify resource requirements to execute upon project plan.
• Build all documentation in support of the new systems installed.
• Train local team on the new systems and processes.
• Establish ERP/MRP health metrics.
• Post project support in terms of verification of adherence to the new systems.
• Support objective of driving Standardization and Harmonization across CIT. Including but not limited to IT systems use, business processes, training documents, and performance expectations.
Lead team in the execution of the plan.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly manages other members of the Supply Chain Business Improvement Team and indirectly those of the factory supply chain teams during a project implementation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
All CIT factories are air-conditioned with many pieces of equipment that produce heat. The following are potential items encountered: fumes, dust, noise, hazardous/toxic chemicals. Appropriate training is provided and documented based on job placement that complies with OSHA and EPA regulations.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
ASTM F--2412--2005, ANSI Z41--1999, or ANSI Z41--1991 rated safety toed shoes and clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses are required when in hazard areas of the factories.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Operations or other related field preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.


JOB SKILLS/TYPE OF PERSON

* Master level of knowledge with manufacturing ERP systems
* A strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Proficient within MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of people.
