Job Description


SUMMARY
Provide sales and service support to the inside sales team and key customers. Work with the Customer Service Manager -- Aftermarket Distribution and sales team to implement Business Winning & Customer Service Excellence strategies to build the business and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts. Perform a variety of customer service related activities including, but not limited to, standard department and customer report generation, order entry, material expediting, sales support, OTD reporting, serve as department liaison to the Warehouse, and respond to customer inquiries
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Familiar with MRP systems
• Assist in department support activities and strive to meet department metrics.
• Data entry and accuracy required
• Perform order management activities to ensure customer expectations are communicated and delivery schedules are met
• Troubleshoot with internal cross functional teams to achieve customer satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of the distribution and wire/cable industry
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance
•Other duties as required in support of the department and the company•
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• College degree or 1 to 3 years' experience preferably in the wire & cable industry, aerospace/defense industry and/or in a sales environment with heavy customer interaction
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
