Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for a Customer Service Manager in our Portland, Maine location. The Customer Service manager is responsible for establishing industry leading customer service programs, working with Outside Sales to establish pricing, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded, and spearheading cross functional process improvement projects.

20% Travel required. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the Customer Service group including coaching, performance feedback, training, development, hiring and terminating employees
  • Provides regular performance feedback and evaluations to develop and improve the inside sales team
  • Coaches individuals during day-to-day operations to establish consistent performance guidelines
  • Assists Outside Sales in performing market analysis to determine pricing and customer needs
  • Establishes pricing for specialty products, maintains price pages, and communicates pricing to all relevant groups.
  • Establishes, leads, and participates in process improvement projects

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • 4-10 years of related/relevant experience, including team management.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • SAP and CRM experience is a plus.
  • B2B customer service experience is a plus.
