Job Description

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for partnering with Management to anticipate and meet the evolving hiring needs of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) and to assist with delivering best talent to the organization. The Contract Recruiter is responsible for following best practices, leveraging social media and driving state-of-the-art recruiting techniques and processes for the CIT recruiting operations.


* Manages the full-cycle recruiting for all non-exempt and exempt personnel, interns and temporary employees in a timely manner.
* Works with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions and ensure compliance with job classification codes.
* Creates and manages internal and external job postings in a timely manner.
* Maintains the applicant tracking system (ADP Recruiting Manager) and successfully completes the onboarding of new hires into ADP Vantage.
* Partners with hiring managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate. Meets with them as necessary to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
* Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
* Arranges travel and lodging for candidates, when required.
* Coordinate with onsite and offsite HR and IT department to onboard employees.
* Provide weekly report of recruiting activities and status of positions.
* Ensures compliance with Affirmative Action Plan requirements and implements recruiting strategies.
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in talent attraction.
* Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation, and pipelining efforts.
* Provides recruiting assistance to site locations as needed.

Work is performed in a professional office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low.

* Minimum 5 years recruitment experience.
* HRIS experience required, ADP Recruiting Manager or ADP Vantage preferred.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* 2-3 years in high volume, full-cycle recruiting

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.


* High regard for confidentiality of information.
* Self-starter with the ability to recruit for multiple high-level positions.
* Initiative, creative and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Good presentation skills.
* Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; strong attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all levels of management and to communicate with customers on sensitive issues in a professional customer service manner.
* Ability to work in a self-motivated, independent environment with a good work ethic and dedication to quality with minimum supervision.
