Job Description


Under the general direction of the Quality Manager, the Configuration Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the change management process, including notification, execution, and follow-through.


* Facilitate, coordinate, and manage daily execution of the change management process, which includes engineering change notices, customer document change requests, and customer document logs
* Develop and manage change management tools and systems in support of change management activities
* Lead and facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings with cross-functional teams to review in-process changes, and identify impact and necessary actions for successful management
* Create and monitor change management processes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and customer requirements
* Continuously review and improve the elements of the change management process, including generation of engineering change notices, impact analyses, data package routing and review, SAP system updates, and disposition of affected in-process material, as well as stock
* Manage data collection plans, including consideration of how the data will be collected, including check sheets, data coding techniques and automated data collection

* Support data flow and identification on area continuous improvement boards
* Support kaizen activity and related activities
* Conduct internal audits of engineering changes to ensure continued sustainment and compliance
* Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

* Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant quality and manufacturing experience within an ISO controlled and/or government regulated environment, or 5+ years of relevant quality and manufacturing experience within an ISO controlled and/or government regulated environment without a bachelor's degree

* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Articulate with use of good grammar skills.
* A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.


* Experience within the Aerospace Industry with exposure to AS9100 and FAA regulations preferred
* Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once
* Strong technical skills including the ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups in both written and presentation form
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and can use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & associated software efficiently
* Strong desire to work in a team made up of a cross functional group of individuals
* Self-starter that can work extended hours as required to satisfy customer deadlines


Carlisle IT Franklin is a clean facility housing different kinds of machinery, equipment, processes and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.
